WHAT YOU NEED
- PEEPS® Bunny cut out (to trace)
- Cardboard
- PEEPS® Egg Hunt Individually Wrapped Mini Marshmallow Chicks, 18ct Yellow Chicks or 36ct Assorted Colors of Chicks
- Scissors
- Utility knife/ electric scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Hot glue gun
- Assorted colored tissue paper
- Felt or construction paper
- Paint (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS
- First trace or free-hand draw your PEEPS® Bunny Shape onto a piece of cardboard. Repeat, so you have a front and a back. For reference, Bunny dimensions are 8in x 3.5in x 13in in video.
- Measure and cut strips of cardboard roughly 2-3 inches wide. These will make the sides of your pinata.
- Leaving ½ an inch from the edge of your first Bunny shape, use hot glue to fold and mold your side pieces perpendicular to the flat back. Follow the curves and bends of your Bunny shape by creating folds in the cardboard as necessary.
- Use hot glue on both sides of the cardboard to secure, but leave a 3 inch gap *unglued* to serve as the opening for later when you’re ready to put your Chicks inside.
- Working quickly, spread hot glue along the top edge of your sides, then attach the top Bunny shape of your pinata.
- You can choose to paint your pinata, or cover the entire thing with fringe.
- Create your fringe strips by folding tissue paper 1.5 inches thick lengthwise. Holding one strip, fold in half, then in half again.
- Starting from one end, use scissors to cut the fringe all the way down the length of the shortened strip.
- Unfold until you have a double layer of long fringe, and hot glue in layers across your pinata. Repeat with different colors.
- Trim off any excess on the edges, following the shape of the Bunny as your guide.
- Cut small circles out of your felt or construction paper for the Bunny’s two eyes and nose and glue onto your Bunny Shaped pinata.
- Lastly, stuff your pinata with PEEPS® Egg Hunt Individually Wrapped Mini Marshmallow Chicks. Have fun!
Use extreme caution when using hot glue!
