INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening
  • 10 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 1-10 oz. bag mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1-3 oz. package PEEPS® Brand Marshmallow Chicks or Bunnies, chopped into small pieces
  • 4 pkgs. PEEPS® Delights S’mores Graham Cracker Flavored Marshmallow Chicks

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 375° and spray a 12-cup muffin tin with no-stick spray
  • With an electric mixer, cream together the Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening and sugars until creamy
  • Scrape the sides of the bowl
  • Add the egg and extract and blend well
  • Add the flour, a little at a time, and blend on low until mixed
  • Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Scoop out into 3 tablespoon portions into the muffin tin
  • Bake for 12 minutes then remove from the oven
  • Use the back of a tablespoon to make a shallow indentation in each cookie
  • Add the remaining chocolate chips, nuts and chopped PEEPS® to the cups and return to the oven for 1 minute
  • Remove from the oven and top each one with a PEEPS® Delights S’mores Flavored Marshmallow Chicks
  • Allow to cool then remove from the muffin tin

Note: Use extreme caution when heating PEEPS® Marshmallow; they may be hot. Handle with care.
